MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY

Make a difference day 2016

Train up a child in the way he should go;
even when he is old he will not depart from it.
Proverbs 22:6

Make A Difference Day, a national initiative which encourages children to do their very own good deed on National Make A Difference Day was successfully adopted and implemented by Philoptochos chapters nationwide in 2015.  In September and October of 2015 over 4,000 good deeds were done in support of National Make a Difference Day and in honor of Archbishop Demetrios’ Nameday on October 26th.  Our goal is to teach our children to do their own good deeds and to make a difference in the world. The event was presented at the National Philoptochos Convention in Nashville and was applauded by all.  You can view the PowerPoint presentation here: http://philoptochos.org/outreach/projects/makeadifference
